I ' L L D O I T- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -for youIt was a cold, nippy day outside. Corey thought it would be much, much more satisfying to stay in the common room as long as she could; compared to running around the campus until class started like a chicken with it's head cut off in the freezing cold. Luckily for her, the room was nearly empty.
A few late-risers were up and just now getting ready for the day, but besides them - who, thank god, didn't dare bother Corey, who probably looked annoyed enough - there was hardly anyone else, so she could work on some of her essays in peace. Well, the little peace she had, because she was getting supremely annoyed with the amount of work she had.
Fortunately, most of the things she was working on were not due for about another week or two, so she'd have more time later to work on them if she got too fed up with writing. Corey sighed, flipping her potions book shut on top of her notepad. Looking out the tall tower that was the Ravenclaw common room, she smiled.
Well, at least I have a view to adore while I'm working my tail off! She decided then that it was time for an outdoors break, threw on her favorite sweater, and headed out. Once she reached the great outdoors, Corey was greeted by the welcomed scent of fresh air. After awhile the common room tended to get stuffy, even for Corey, who would sit inside the tower for sometimes an entire day.
Though a blissful break, it was very cold outside. Off to find some hot coco, then! Corey thought to herself, silently sending a thank-you to whoever had invented the delicious, warm liquid. As she turned around to head back up the winding stairway, she nearly smacked right into someone who was coming down.
"Oh, sorry!" She exclaimed, blushing and giving a small smile.

I ' L L D O I T- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -for youCorey half-frowned, feeling a little guilty because the boy thought it was his fault, "Oh no! It was me....I'm in too much of a hurry to get something warm to eat. Or, rather, drink, since it'll probably be hot chocolate." She smiled, "I'm fine, how about you?" She felt bad about colliding with him, which she did a lot - Corey was not just borderline clumsy, but completely, and therefore had near collisions all the time - in the long, narrow halls of Hogwarts.
Now that she was looking him over, she recognized him as one of her own, a Ravenclaw. She didn't know his specifics, such as his name or year, but she was pretty sure he was on the Quiditch team. As she gave his broom and bag a quick glance, she realized he was probably coming back from practice just now.
"So, you must be on the Quiditch team?" She nodded towards his bag, finally deciding to just ask him - she was a curious soul, and most of the time her curiosity got the better of her. It was then that she noticed that he was actually dressed in Muggle clothes, and her question's answer was probably a yes.
Then Corey kicked herself, "Oh goodness. Here I go, trying to start a conversation, and I didn't even ask your name!" She laughed lightly, "Sorry! So, what is your name? Mine's Corey, Corey Jinx." She smiled, hoping she was seemingly being kind enough, as she was known - and she knew, personally - that she sometimes came off as really mean, since she had a tenancy to say whatever the hell popped into her mind.
Lucky for her, he seemed nice enough to not just drop the conversation like a hot potato. Corey wouldn't mind making a new friend, she hadn't in a while and she was in need of some actual ones, as some of the people she kept as company weren't the best kind of friends.

Ezio couldn’t help but smile a bit and shake his head. ”Maybe, but I am still the one that could have knocked you over,” he said with a chuckle. He really could have knocked her over, but she did seem alright, so he figured everything was alright.. He followed her gaze to his broom and nodded to her question.
”Yeah. Captain and chaser. I am Ezio D’orolione, and think nothing of it. Where were you headed anyway? I couldn’t use something to eat if you happened to be going towards the kitchens.” he wasn’t sure why he was putting on the D’orolione charm, but why not? His father had told him in younger days that honey caught more flies than vinegar. Of course that had made no sense at the time since he had no interest in catching flies at all.
He kept staring at her, wondering why she was so familiar. Then it dawned on him that she was from his house, only a year ahead of him. ”You are in Ravenclaw aren’t you?” As silence fell around them, the first years and fourth years having cleared off to some other part of the castle, Ezio could suddenly feel and hear his stomach growling, and realized that he had forgotten to eat. ”Hey, I’m starving myself. If you are free, how about we find the kitchens?” He offered his arm, just like a real gentleman.
